The short version

This summary is here to help you read the terms. The numbered sections below are the actual terms.

  • What Corsio is: local businesses publish batches of orders, and one independent courier picks up the whole batch and delivers it in route order.
  • Couriers choose when to go online and which offers to accept. The first courier to accept gets the batch. There are no ratings.
  • Route pay: $0.30 per minute of the planned driving time plus $0.30 per km of the planned route, and at least $3.00. You see it before you accept, and it doesn’t change after.
  • Minimum pay: every delivery pays at least Ontario’s minimum wage (the current rate is on the app’s Pay terms screen) for the time from accepting to your last delivery action, up to 6 hours per delivery.
  • Paid weekly: Monday to Sunday (Toronto time), by Interac e-Transfer by the following Friday.
  • Location is used only while you’re online.
  • Partners: a batch of 10 or more orders costs $0.50 a minute plus $0.25 a km of its planned route; a smaller batch costs $7.99 to $14.99 per delivery, depending on the distance from your business, or 25% less when you schedule the pickup. Send only your own customers’ orders, label every package, send no prohibited items, and hand packages only to the courier shown, with the handoff code.
  • Fair process: before a courier is removed, we give written reasons, notice in most cases, and a way to ask for a review.

Part 1 For everyone

Sections 1 to 4 apply to everyone who uses Corsio.

1 About these terms

1.1 Who we are

Corsio (“we”, “us”) is a local delivery service based in Ottawa, Ontario.

1.2 What these terms cover

These terms are an agreement between you and Corsio. They apply when you use any part of Corsio (together, the “Service”):

  • the Corsio app, for couriers;
  • the Corsio Partner app and the partner portal at corsio.ca, for businesses; and
  • the website corsio.ca.

In these terms, a courier is a person who delivers with the Corsio app. A partner is a business that sends deliveries with Corsio Partner or the portal, including the people who use its account. A customer is the person a partner’s package is going to. A delivery is one batch of orders that a courier accepts, picks up and delivers in one trip.

1.3 Which parts apply to you

  • Everyone: Part 1 (sections 1 to 4) and Part 4 (sections 28 to 40).
  • Couriers: also Part 2 (sections 5 to 18).
  • Partner businesses: also Part 3 (sections 19 to 27).

One login can be used both as a courier and for a business. If you do both, each part applies to the role you are using.

1.4 The Pay terms in the app

The courier app has a Pay terms screen (“How pay works”). The Pay terms are part of these terms. Sections 15 and 16 describe the same rules in more detail. If the Pay terms and these terms ever differ, the version that is better for the courier applies.

1.5 Versions and how you accept

  • Each version of these terms has a version name. This is Version 2026-11-01.
  • Couriers accept these terms, the Privacy Policy and the Pay terms in the app when they sign up, and again whenever a new version is published. The app records which versions you accepted, when, and from which version of the app. You can’t accept new offers until you have accepted the current versions.
  • Partners accept these terms when they create an account and when they submit their business for verification, in the Corsio Partner app or the portal.
  • You can ask us for a copy of the version you accepted at any time.

1.6 Your legal rights come first

Some laws give you rights that a contract can’t take away, such as Ontario’s Digital Platform Workers’ Rights Act, 2022 (for couriers) and Canada’s privacy law, PIPEDA. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. If part of these terms conflicts with such a law, the law wins and the rest of these terms still applies.

2 Who can use Corsio

2.1 Couriers

To deliver with Corsio, you must:

  • be at least 18 years old;
  • live in our service area. Today that is Ontario: the app checks your province when you sign up, and if you live somewhere else you can join our waitlist;
  • be allowed to work in Canada, as a citizen, a permanent resident, or the holder of an open work permit or a study permit. With a study permit, you must keep your Corsio deliveries within the off-campus work hours your permit allows;
  • hold a valid driver’s licence of class G or G2, or a commercial class A to F. G1 (learner) and M (motorcycle) licences can’t be used;
  • have a registered car with insurance that covers paid deliveries (section 7);
  • have an Android phone that can run the current Corsio app, with mobile data, a camera and location services; and
  • be approved by Corsio (section 6).

2.2 Partner businesses

To send deliveries with Corsio, you must:

  • be a real business (for example a sole proprietor, a partnership or a corporation) that sends goods to its own customers;
  • have a pickup location in our service area (at launch, Ottawa, Ontario);
  • be represented by a person who is at least 18 and has the authority to accept these terms for the business; and
  • be approved by Corsio (section 19).

2.3 Launch, service area and applications

We plan to launch in Ottawa by February 1, 2027. Before launch, businesses can join early access and we may run tests. Courier sign-up opens at launch. We may change the service area, and we will tell the people a change affects before it happens.

We may decline an application, for example when information can’t be verified, when the area isn’t served yet, or when the person was removed from Corsio before. We tell you when we do.

3 Accounts and security

  • One person, one account. Your account is personal. Don’t share it, sell it or let anyone else use it. A courier may not let anyone else deliver in their place.
  • Accurate information. Give true, complete and current information, and keep it up to date.
  • Sign-in. You sign in with an email address and a password. Passwords are handled by our sign-in provider, Google Firebase Authentication; Corsio never sees them. The same login can be used for the courier app, Corsio Partner and the portal. Couriers must verify their email address before they upload documents.
  • Keep it secure. Keep your password private and your phone locked. You are responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone else has used it, email cango@cangodelivery.ca right away.
  • App updates. We may require you to install an update to keep using the app. If you have a delivery in progress, the app asks you to update before you continue, and support stays available.
  • Messages from us. You agree that we can send you notices by email, in the apps or in the portal. A notice sent this way counts as being “in writing”.

4 How Corsio works

  1. A partner creates orders. Corsio checks each address with Google, sorts the stops from closest to farthest from the pickup by driving distance, and creates a QR label for each package. The orders become one batch.
  2. Corsio offers the batch to couriers. The offer goes to approved couriers who are online and free, for a limited time. The first courier to accept gets the whole batch.
  3. Pickup. The courier goes to the business. The business checks the courier’s first name, car and plate and gives the courier a 4-digit handoff code. The courier scans every package.
  4. Delivery. The courier delivers the stops in route order and takes a photo of each package at the door. A package that can’t be delivered goes back to the business.
  5. Tracking. The partner can follow the batch and see each delivery’s status and proof.

Corsio runs the platform and arranges deliveries between partners and independent couriers. The partner is the seller of the goods and is responsible for them and for its sale to the customer.

We don’t guarantee that a courier will be available for every batch, or any pickup or delivery time. We may pause new offers for everyone, for example during bad weather, a technical problem, or when few couriers are available. A pause never stops a courier who already has packages from finishing the delivery.

Part 2 Courier terms

Sections 5 to 18 apply to couriers, the people who deliver with the Corsio app.

5 Your relationship with Corsio

  • You are independent. You deliver as an independent contractor, not as an employee, partner or agent of Corsio. You decide whether, when and for how long to go online, and which offers to accept. There are no shifts, no minimum hours and no ratings.
  • You can work elsewhere. You are free to deliver for other companies, including our competitors, and to run your own business.
  • Your own tools and costs. You use your own car and phone and pay your own costs, such as fuel, maintenance, insurance, phone and data. These costs are not reimbursed.
  • Your rights as a digital platform worker. Ontario’s Digital Platform Workers’ Rights Act, 2022 applies to your work with Corsio. Among other things, it gives you the right to: information about how your pay is calculated and when you are paid; at least the minimum wage for your work time on each delivery; a regular pay period and pay day; all of your tips; written reasons, and in most cases notice, before you are removed from the platform; and protection from reprisal. These terms are written to give you those rights. We will never penalize you for asking about them or using them.

6 Verification and documents

6.1 What you provide

Your application asks for:

  • your contact details, legal name, date of birth and home address;
  • your driver’s licence: number, issuing province, class, expiry date, and photos of the front and back;
  • your car: make, model, year, colour, licence plate, registration province, and the vehicle registration;
  • your insurance: company, policy number, expiry date, your confirmation that it covers paid deliveries and, if you have it, the endorsement page;
  • your right to work in Canada, a document that shows it, and the permit’s expiry date if you have a permit;
  • a profile photo, and any other document we reasonably ask for;
  • your consent to a background check; and
  • your confirmation that everything you provide is accurate.

Documents must be genuine, current and yours. Uploaded files are checked automatically (for example, that a file really is the type it claims to be) and reviewed by a person.

6.2 Background check

You consent to a background check as part of your application. We explain the process and any further requirements before a check is arranged.

6.3 Our review

After you submit, your application is pending until we review it. We then:

  • approve it, and you can go online;
  • mark it action required, with a message that tells you which step to fix; or
  • don’t approve it, with a message from Corsio. You can ask us about the decision by email.

6.4 Keeping your documents current

  • When your licence, insurance or work permit reaches its expiry date, the app stops showing you offers until you renew it. This happens automatically and is not a penalty. To renew, contact support: we ask you to update that step, then review and approve the update.
  • Tell us right away if your licence is suspended or downgraded, your insurance is cancelled or no longer covers deliveries, your permit changes, or you want to use a different car.

7 Your car and insurance

  • Car. Corsio deliveries are made by car. Use only the car registered in your account: its colour, make, model and plate are shown to the business at pickup. The car must be safe, roadworthy, registered and plated. Before you use a different car, contact support so we can update and approve it.
  • Insurance. Most personal car insurance doesn’t cover paid deliveries. You must have insurance that covers paid deliveries with this car (commercial use or a delivery endorsement) the whole time you are online or on a delivery. We may ask for proof at any time.
  • What Corsio doesn’t insure. Corsio doesn’t provide car insurance, accident or injury insurance, or insurance for your belongings.
  • Tickets and accidents. You are responsible for your traffic and parking tickets, tolls and fines. If you have an accident during a delivery, make sure everyone is safe and call 911 if needed, then tell Corsio support as soon as you can.

8 Going online and your location

  • Going online. You go online by tapping GO. When you are not on a delivery, you can go offline whenever you like.
  • When your location is used. Corsio uses your location only while you are online, from the moment you tap GO until you go offline. It is used to show you on the map, to check your distance to a pickup when you accept a delivery, to record how far from the saved addresses pickups and deliveries happen, and to measure your progress along the route.
  • With the screen off. While you’re online, Corsio keeps sharing your location even if you switch apps or turn off the screen. A notification shows while this is on. It stops when you go offline. Corsio never asks for “all the time” background location.
  • What we keep. We keep only your latest position. It is deleted when you go offline, and automatically within about 15 minutes if the app stops updating it. We don’t keep a history of where you have been.
  • What customers see. Businesses never see your location. A customer’s tracking page shows your first name from the moment you accept, and your latest position only while you have their package and they are 5 stops away or closer, refreshed about every minute. See our Privacy Policy.
  • Distance checks. When you confirm a pickup or a stop, the app sends your position once so we can record how far you were from the address. We keep only that distance and whether it was more than 300 m. A long distance never blocks you, but we may ask you about it.
  • Long sessions. For safety, the app may check that you are still there, and it ends a session that has been online for a long time (currently 12 hours).
  • Pauses. When Corsio pauses deliveries, the app shows a message, and couriers who aren’t on a delivery may be taken offline.

9 Offers and accepting a delivery

  • Who sees offers. Offers are shown to approved couriers who are online, are not on another delivery, and whose documents haven’t expired. To accept, you must also have accepted the current version of these terms.
  • What an offer shows. Before you accept, you see the business and pickup area, the number of stops, the route distance and estimated time, about how far you are from the pickup, and the pay. Customer details are shown only after you accept.
  • Time limit. Each offer is open for a limited time, shown in the app (currently between 30 seconds and 10 minutes).
  • First come, first served. The first courier to accept gets the whole batch. There are no ratings and no acceptance rate. Declining or ignoring an offer never counts against you.
  • Distance to the pickup. You can accept only if you are within 15 km of the pickup, in a straight line. We will tell you before we change this limit.
  • One at a time. You can have one delivery at a time. You can’t accept a batch from your own business.
  • The pay is fixed when you accept. If an offer changes before you accept it, the app shows you the new details and you must accept again. After you accept, the route pay doesn’t change.
  • What accepting means. By accepting, you agree to pick up the whole batch and deliver it, or bring back what you can’t deliver, under these terms. If you can’t do it after all, contact support right away (section 13).

10 Pickup

  • Go to the pickup address shown in the app and follow the business’s pickup instructions. Show the batch code from the app; it is also printed on the labels.
  • So that the business hands the packages to the right person, it sees your first name, your car’s colour, make and model, and your plate from the moment you accept until the delivery is completed or released. After that, only your first name stays on the batch.
  • Handoff code. The business gives you a 4-digit code from its batch page. Enter it in the app. After 5 wrong codes, code entry locks. If the business can’t show a code, choose “The business can’t show a code”; the pickup is then recorded as not verified by code.
  • Scan every package. Scan the QR label on each package, or type its 6-digit order code if the label won’t scan. If a package isn’t there, mark it as not found at pickup.
  • Don’t take a package that has no label, looks damaged or leaking, or seems to contain a prohibited item (section 22). Contact support instead.
  • If the business isn’t ready, contact support. Your waiting time counts toward the minimum-pay guarantee (section 15.3).

11 Delivery and photo proof

  • Route order. Deliver the stops in route order, closest to farthest from the pickup. You can choose another remaining stop when you need to, for example because of a road closure.
  • Navigation. You can navigate with Google Maps or Waze from the app.
  • Customer details. While the delivery is active, you see each customer’s first name, phone number, address, unit and delivery instructions. They are removed from your app when the delivery ends.
  • At the door. Check the address, scan the package, follow the delivery instructions, and leave the package in a safe spot at the address. The app checks that you are near the address.
  • Photo proof. A photo of the delivered package is required for every delivery. Show the package at the door, with the unit or house number if you can. Keep people’s faces, the inside of homes, and other people’s information out of the photo. The photo is shared with the business as its delivery record.
  • When every stop is done, tap Complete route.

12 When you can’t deliver: returns

  • If you can’t deliver a package, tap Couldn’t deliver and choose what happened: no answer, address not found, couldn’t get in, unsafe to deliver, customer refused it, package damaged, or other (with a short note). You can add a photo of the attempt.
  • Before you choose “no answer”, try to reach the customer with the phone number in the app.
  • Bring every package you couldn’t deliver back to the business on the same trip, hand it over, and confirm the return in the app. You can complete the route only when every package is delivered, returned, or recorded as not found at pickup.
  • If the business is closed when you come back, contact support.
  • Never keep, open, sell, give away or throw away a package.

13 Deliveries released by Corsio

  • Only Corsio can take a delivery back from you (a “release”). If you can’t continue, for example because of a car problem, an emergency or a safety concern, contact support right away.
  • Corsio can release a delivery in two ways: cancel it before pickup (the batch can then be offered again), or ask you to return the packages to the business after pickup.
  • We may release a delivery because you are unavailable, because of a vehicle issue, because the business cancelled or is closed, for safety, or for another reason. The app tells you that Corsio closed the delivery, with any note from us.
  • Section 15.5 explains how released deliveries are paid.

14 Safety and conduct

14.1 Safety

  • Obey traffic laws. Mount your phone before you drive. Ontario allows only one-touch use of a mounted phone while driving: accept an offer with a single tap, and leave everything else until you have pulled over. Never type while driving.
  • Never drive while impaired by alcohol, cannabis, drugs, medication or fatigue.
  • In an emergency, call 911 first, then contact Corsio support. The Safety button in the app shows both.
  • You never have to deliver where you feel unsafe. Choose “Unsafe to deliver” and leave. This is never held against you.

14.2 Conduct

  • Treat business staff, customers and the public with respect. No harassment, threats, violence or discrimination of any kind, including on the grounds protected by the Ontario Human Rights Code.
  • Keep packages secure. Don’t open them, use them or tamper with them.
  • Use customer information only to complete the delivery. Don’t contact a customer for anything else or after the delivery, and don’t keep, copy, photograph (other than the proof photo) or share customer information. Labels show the customer’s full name and phone number: handle them privately.
  • Be honest. Don’t fake scans, photos, locations (including GPS spoofing), documents, or the reason a delivery failed.
  • Don’t ask businesses or customers for money.
  • Report any accident, injury, theft, damage, threat or other incident to Corsio as soon as you safely can.

15 Pay

15.1 Route pay

Each delivery pays $0.30 per minute of the planned driving time plus $0.30 per kilometre of the planned route, and at least $3.00. The planned route is the driving route from the pickup through every stop in route order, as calculated with Google Maps when the batch is offered. It doesn’t include your drive to the pickup or a trip back to return packages; that time is covered by the minimum-pay guarantee (section 15.3).

  1. The route distance is rounded to the nearest 0.1 km (0.05 km rounds up) and multiplied by $0.30, rounded to the nearest cent (half a cent rounds up).
  2. The planned driving time (Google Maps’ estimate for that route) is rounded to the nearest minute (30 seconds round up) and multiplied by $0.30.
  3. The two are added. If the total is under $3.00, the delivery pays $3.00.

The offer shows the same rounded distance, driving time and pay that you are paid. Once you accept, the route pay doesn’t change.

15.2 Route pay examples

Route pay at $0.30 per minute plus $0.30 per kilometre, at least $3.00
Planned routeDistance × $0.30Minutes × $0.30Route pay
97.4 km, 1 h 24 min$29.22$25.20$54.42
24.8 km, 35 min$7.44$10.50$17.94
12.4 km, 20 min$3.72$6.00$9.72
3.0 km, 6 min$0.90$1.80$3.00 (the minimum)

15.3 Minimum-pay guarantee

Every delivery pays at least Ontario’s general minimum wage for your engaged time. If the route pay is lower, Corsio adds a top-up automatically.

  • Engaged time starts when you accept the offer. It ends at your last delivery action: the later of your pickup confirmation and the last stop you resolved (delivered, couldn’t deliver, returned, or not found at pickup). It doesn’t wait for you to tap Complete route.
  • Engaged time is counted in seconds, up to 6 hours per delivery. If a delivery takes longer than 6 hours, tell us and we will review the time.
  • The minimum is your engaged time times the minimum wage, rounded up to the next cent.
  • The top-up is the minimum minus the route pay, when the minimum is higher. Otherwise there is no top-up.
  • The minimum wage used is Ontario’s general minimum wage in effect when the delivery is completed or released. The app’s Pay terms screen shows the current rate. When Ontario changes it (usually every October 1), we update it.
  • Time online without an accepted delivery, such as waiting for offers, is not engaged time and is not paid.
  • Tips never count toward the minimum.

15.4 Minimum-pay examples

Example: two deliveries at $17.95 an hour, Ontario’s rate from October 1, 2026
Delivery ADelivery B
Planned route24.8 km, 35 min3.0 km, 6 min
Route pay$17.94$3.00
Engaged time1 h 10 min40 min
Minimum for that time$20.95$11.97
Top-up$3.01$8.97
You are paid$20.95$11.97
  • Delivery A: 70 minutes × $17.95 ÷ 60 = $20.9417, rounded up to $20.95. The route pay ($27.78) is higher, so there is no top-up.
  • Delivery B: 40 minutes × $17.95 ÷ 60 = $11.9667, rounded up to $11.97. The route pay is $3.36, so the top-up is $11.97 − $3.36 = $8.61.

15.5 Pay for deliveries released by Corsio

  • Cancelled before pickup: there is no route pay. You get the minimum for the time from accepting until the release, as a top-up.
  • Returned to the business after pickup: you get the full agreed route pay, plus a top-up if the minimum for the time from accepting until the release is higher.
  • Released because you were unavailable: if we cancel because you can’t or don’t continue the delivery, no pay is due for that delivery by default. We may still count your time, for example when an emergency stopped you.
  • If the recorded time or the base pay doesn’t reflect the work actually done, Corsio may set a different amount for a released delivery. Your Earnings screen shows the amount, and we explain it if you ask.

These examples use $17.95 an hour, Ontario’s rate from October 1, 2026.

Example 1: we cancel a delivery 25 minutes after you accepted it, because the business closed. Route pay: $0. Minimum: 25 minutes × $17.95 ÷ 60 = $7.479, rounded up to $7.48. You are paid $7.48.

Example 2: 50 minutes after you accepted a delivery with $13.89 of route pay, we ask you to return the packages. Minimum: 50 minutes × $17.95 ÷ 60 = $14.958, rounded up to $14.96. Top-up: $14.96 − $13.89 = $1.07. You are paid $14.96.

15.6 Tips

There are no tips at launch: customers can’t tip through Corsio. If tipping is added, you will get 100% of every tip, on top of your pay, and tips will never count toward the minimum-pay guarantee. A tip a customer gives you in person is yours.

15.7 No fees or deductions

Corsio doesn’t charge couriers any fee. We don’t deduct the value of lost or damaged packages, or any fine, from your pay.

16 Pay periods and payouts

  • Pay period: Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59, Toronto time. Each delivery belongs to the week in which it was completed or released.
  • Payday: by the Friday after the pay period ends. For example, deliveries from Monday, February 1 to Sunday, February 7, 2027 are paid by Friday, February 12, 2027.
  • How you are paid: by Interac e-Transfer to your account’s email address. Make sure that address can receive e-Transfers. If a transfer can’t be completed, we contact you and send it again.
  • Earnings screen: for every delivery, the app shows the route pay, any top-up, the total, the time counted for the minimum-pay guarantee, the pay period, and whether it has been paid, with a payment reference.
  • Questions or errors: if something looks wrong, email cango@cangodelivery.ca with the delivery date and batch code. We check it, answer in writing within 14 days, and pay any amount we owe by the next payday. You can also contact Ontario’s Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development.
  • After you leave: pay you have earned is paid even if your account is suspended, deactivated or deleted. After a deletion, we keep your legal name and email address for this purpose.

17 Taxes

  • As an independent courier, you are responsible for the income tax and Canada Pension Plan contributions on what you earn. Corsio doesn’t withhold tax from your pay.
  • If you must register for GST/HST (for example because your taxable revenue from all sources is more than $30,000 over four calendar quarters), you are responsible for it. Tell us if you are registered.
  • Canadian law may require us to collect tax information from you, such as your social insurance number, and to report your earnings to the Canada Revenue Agency. If so, we will ask you for it, and you agree to provide it.
  • We don’t give tax advice. Ask a tax professional if you are unsure.

18 Suspension, deactivation and reviews

18.1 What they mean

  • Suspended: your account is paused. You can’t go online or accept offers until we lift the suspension.
  • Deactivated: your courier account is closed and can no longer go online or accept offers.

18.2 Reasons

We suspend or deactivate a courier account only for a real reason, for example:

  • a required document is invalid or false, or isn’t renewed;
  • a background check result that makes you unsuitable to deliver;
  • unsafe driving or a safety incident;
  • fraud or dishonesty, such as fake scans, photos, locations or documents;
  • theft or loss of packages, or tampering with them;
  • misuse of customer information;
  • harassment, threats, violence or discrimination;
  • a serious breach, or repeated breaches, of these terms; or
  • a legal requirement.

We won’t suspend or deactivate you for declining offers, for the days and hours you choose to work, for working with others, or for asking about or using your legal rights. There is no rating system.

18.3 Notice and written reasons

  • We always give you the reasons in writing, in the app. You can ask us to send them by email too.
  • If we remove you from the platform for 24 hours or more, we give you at least 2 weeks’ written notice before it starts. We act immediately, with written reasons, only where the law allows it, for example for wilful misconduct, fraud, or a risk to anyone’s health or safety.
  • If you are on a delivery when we suspend or deactivate you, we release that delivery first, and it is paid under section 15.5.
  • The automatic offer block for an expired document (section 6.4) ends when you renew the document.

18.4 How to ask for a review

  1. Email cango@cangodelivery.ca from your account’s email address within 30 days of the decision, with the subject “Account review”.
  2. Explain why you think the decision is wrong, and attach anything that helps, such as a renewed document.
  3. A person at Corsio reviews it (where possible, someone who didn’t make the first decision) and answers in writing within 14 days.

Pay you have earned is still paid on the normal payday. Asking for a review doesn’t affect your right to complain to Ontario’s Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, or to go to court.

Part 3 Partner business terms

Sections 19 to 27 apply to partner businesses that send deliveries with Corsio Partner or the portal.

19 Partner verification

  • You sign up in the Corsio Partner app or the portal at corsio.ca and tell us about your business: its name (and legal name if different), type, description, phone, email, website, registration number (unless your business doesn’t have one), address and pickup location, what you plan to deliver, how many orders a day, a pickup contact, pickup instructions and opening hours. You can add a logo and documents, and we may ask for more.
  • You confirm that the information is accurate and accept these terms.
  • We review your application. It stays pending until we approve it, ask you to update something (action required, with a message), or don’t approve it.
  • You can publish orders only while your business is approved. We may withdraw an approval (section 36).
  • Keep your details current. To change them, email cango@cangodelivery.ca; editing them yourself is coming soon.

20 Orders and labels

  • Your own customers only. Publish deliveries only of your own goods, to your own customers, at addresses in our service area.
  • Order details. Each order needs the customer’s first and last name, a Canadian phone number and a street address. A unit (up to 30 characters) and delivery instructions (up to 500 characters) are optional. You are responsible for their accuracy.
  • Address checks. We check every address with Google. If Google corrects an address or finds more than one match, you choose the right one. An address that can’t be found, or that has no driving route, can’t be published. You are responsible for the address you choose.
  • Limits. Up to 200 orders per batch. Each business can check up to 2,000 addresses and 5,000 driving distances per day.
  • Publishing. When you publish, we sort the stops from closest to farthest from your pickup by driving distance and give each order a 6-digit order code. The batch code is the first 6 characters of the batch ID.
  • Labels. You get a PDF of labels on letter paper, up to four per page. Each label shows the stop number, the order code, a QR code that holds only the 6-digit order code, your business, and the customer’s name, phone, address, unit and instructions. Print the labels and attach the right label to each package before pickup. Labels contain customer information: keep them private and shred spare copies.
  • After publishing. A published batch can’t be edited. To cancel or change one, email us as soon as possible.

21 Packaging

  • Have every package packed, sealed and labelled when the courier arrives.
  • Pack items to survive normal handling in a car. Seal food and drinks in leak-proof, tamper-evident packaging, and mark fragile items.
  • Attach the label firmly where it can be seen and scanned, and don’t cover the QR code.
  • Each order has one label. If an order has more than one bag or box, join them securely into one package.
  • Each package must fit in a regular car and be safe for one person to carry.
  • Stops are delivered in route order, so the last stops of a large batch arrive later. Pack perishable items so they stay safe for the whole route.

22 Prohibited and restricted items

Couriers leave packages at the door with a photo. They don’t check ID, take signatures or collect payment. So you must not send:

  • anything that is illegal to sell, own or transport in Ontario, or stolen or counterfeit goods;
  • alcohol, cannabis, tobacco, vaping products, or any other age-restricted product;
  • prescription drugs or controlled substances;
  • firearms, ammunition, weapons (including replicas), explosives or fireworks;
  • dangerous goods, such as flammable, corrosive, toxic or compressed items (for example propane), or damaged or recalled batteries;
  • live animals, or human or animal remains;
  • cash, cheques, gift cards, precious metals, or items worth more than $500 per package;
  • items that need a signature, an ID check, payment on delivery, or temperature control that packaging can’t provide; or
  • anything that leaks, smells strongly, or could hurt the courier or damage the car.

A courier may refuse a package that seems prohibited or unsafe. You are responsible for any harm, cost or fine caused by a prohibited item.

23 Pickup and handoff

  • After you publish, have the packages ready at your pickup address during your opening hours.
  • When a courier accepts your batch, the batch page shows the courier’s first name, car colour, make and model, plate, and a 4-digit handoff code.
  • Give the packages only to the courier shown on the batch page. Check the name, car and plate, then give that courier the handoff code. Never share the code with anyone else.
  • The courier scans each package. A package that isn’t handed over is recorded as not found at pickup.
  • If you can’t show the code, the courier can record that, and the pickup is marked as not verified by code. You are still responsible for handing the packages to the right courier.
  • Use the courier’s details only for the handoff. After the delivery, only the courier’s first name stays on your batch.

24 Tracking, proof and returns

  • You can follow each delivery: delivered (with a photo), couldn’t deliver (with the reason), returned to you, or not found at pickup.
  • Tracking links. Each order has a tracking page (corsio.ca/tracking/ followed by the batch code and the order code), and the portal can copy its link. Anyone with the link can open the page, so share it only with that order’s customer. It shows the delivery’s status, an estimated delivery window, how many stops are before it, the street and city it goes to, your business’s name and pickup address, the courier’s first name and, from 5 stops away, the courier’s location. It never shows the customer’s name, phone number, unit or instructions.
  • Proof photos are available in the app and the portal. We plan to delete them after 90 days, so save any you need for longer.
  • Packages that can’t be delivered come back to you on the same trip. Someone must be at the pickup to receive them. If you will close before the route ends, tell us.
  • After a return, you decide what to do next with your customer. You can publish the order again in a new batch.
  • Pickup and delivery times are estimates. We don’t guarantee a time.
  • If no courier accepts a batch, or a delivery is cancelled before pickup, we may offer it again.

25 Pricing and payment

  • Price. A batch of 10 or more orders is priced as a whole by its planned route, from your pickup address through every delivery address, as calculated when you publish it: $0.50 for each minute of driving time (rounded to the nearest minute) plus $0.25 for each km (rounded to 0.1 km). A batch of fewer than 10 orders is priced per delivery by the straight-line distance from your pickup address to the delivery address: $7.99 up to 10 km, $9.99 for more than 10 and up to 20 km, and $14.99 for more than 20 km. When you choose a pickup time as you publish a batch of fewer than 10 orders, instead of as soon as possible, each of its per-delivery prices is 25% lower ($5.99, $7.49 and $11.24). We deliver only inside our delivery area, shown on corsio.ca/check-pricing. There is no monthly fee. Final pricing and the service area are confirmed before launch, and your prices are shown in the portal.
  • What you are charged for. Each order in a batch that a courier picks up, including orders that couldn’t be delivered and were returned to you. You are not charged for orders not found at pickup, for batches cancelled before pickup, or for deliveries that failed because of Corsio.
  • Taxes. Prices don’t include HST, which is added when it applies.
  • Before launch. Nothing is charged before launch, planned for February 1, 2027.
  • Payment method. You add a payment method in the portal before launch, and you authorize us to charge it for your invoices.
  • Invoices. Invoices appear on the Billing page of the portal.
  • Unpaid amounts. If a payment fails or an invoice isn’t paid on time, we may stop you from publishing new orders until it is paid.
  • Billing questions. Email us within 30 days of an invoice.
  • Price changes. We tell you at least 30 days before a price increase.

26 Lost or damaged packages

  • Report a lost, damaged or wrongly delivered package within 7 days of the delivery date. Email cango@cangodelivery.ca with your business name, the batch code, the order code, what happened, and photos and proof of what the item cost you.
  • We review the scans, times, photos and records, and answer in writing.
  • If a package was lost or damaged while in a courier’s care (from the pickup scan until it was delivered or returned) and it wasn’t your fault, we refund that delivery’s fee and pay your documented cost of the goods (not the retail price), up to $100 per package.
  • We don’t cover: prohibited items; poor packaging; perishable items spoiling within the normal route time; a package delivered with photo proof at the right address (after delivery, it is the customer’s responsibility); a wrong address or wrong details that you gave or chose; a customer refusing a package; events outside our reasonable control; or indirect losses such as lost profit.
  • We recommend that you have your own insurance for goods in transit.

27 Your customers’ information

  • When you create orders, you give us your customers’ names, phone numbers, addresses, units and delivery instructions. You confirm that you collected them lawfully, that they are accurate, and that you may share them with Corsio and its couriers for the delivery. Tell your customers that Corsio delivers their order and that a courier will see their first name, phone number, address and instructions. If you send a customer a tracking link, send it only to that customer (section 24).
  • We use this information only to check addresses, plan routes, carry out and prove deliveries, provide support and meet our legal duties, as our Privacy Policy explains. We don’t sell it and don’t use it for marketing.
  • In the app, couriers see only the customer’s first name, phone number, address, unit and instructions, and only while the delivery is active. The printed label also shows the customer’s full name and phone number. QR codes hold only the 6-digit order code.
  • Keep labels, PDFs and proof photos secure, and use them only for your deliveries and customer service. Answer your customers’ privacy requests about the information you hold. Tell us right away if you learn of a privacy breach involving Corsio information.

Part 4 For everyone

Sections 28 to 40 apply to everyone who uses Corsio.

28 Acceptable use

When you use Corsio, don’t:

  • break the law, or help anyone else break it;
  • give false information or pretend to be someone else;
  • share, sell or transfer your account;
  • use bots, scripts, modified apps or other automation to accept offers, collect data or use the Service;
  • fake your location, or interfere with location checks or scanning;
  • copy, reverse engineer or disrupt the apps, the website or our servers, or try to get around our security rules;
  • try to see information that isn’t yours;
  • upload viruses or other harmful code;
  • publish fake or test orders, or orders for anyone other than your own customers; or
  • use information from Corsio to spam, harass or market to anyone.

29 Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who can see it, where it is stored and for how long, and your rights under Canada’s privacy law (PIPEDA). Couriers accept it in the app together with these terms.

30 Deleting your account

  • Couriers can delete their account at any time in the app (Account, then Delete account) or by email. A delivery in progress must be finished or released first. See Delete your Corsio account for what is deleted and what we must keep. Pay you have earned is still paid.
  • Partners can close their business account by emailing cango@cangodelivery.ca from the account’s email address. Amounts you owe remain due.
  • If one login is used for both a courier account and a business account, deleting one keeps the login for the other.

31 Third-party services

Corsio relies on services from other companies, including Google Maps Platform (address checks, routes and maps), Google Maps and Waze (navigation, your choice), Google Firebase (sign-in, database, file storage and crash reports), Google Play (app downloads and updates) and Interac e-Transfer (courier pay, through our bank). Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. Maps, routes, times and addresses from these services can be wrong: always use your judgement and follow road signs and the law. We are not responsible for problems caused by these services.

32 Intellectual property

  • Corsio owns the Corsio name and logo, the apps, the website and portal, the label design and the software. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the apps and the portal for their purpose while these terms apply. That right ends when your account ends.
  • Partners keep ownership of their business name, logo and content. You let us use them to provide the Service, for example on labels, in offers to couriers and in the portal. We will ask you before naming your business in our marketing.
  • Proof photos are delivery records. Couriers let Corsio and the partner use them for that purpose.
  • If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without paying you.

33 Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we don’t promise that it will always be available, error-free or secure, that a courier will be available for every batch, that you will receive a certain number of offers, or that you will earn a certain amount. Distances, times and maps are estimates.

34 Limitation of liability

  • To the extent the law allows, Corsio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill.
  • For partners, our total liability for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, or $100, plus any amount owed under section 26.
  • Nothing in these terms limits pay a courier has earned, any right under the Digital Platform Workers’ Rights Act, 2022 or another law that can’t be waived, or any liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit, such as liability for fraud.

35 Indemnity

  • Partners agree to cover the reasonable losses and legal costs of Corsio and its couriers from claims caused by the partner’s goods, a prohibited item, poor packaging, customer information the partner had no right to share, or the partner’s breach of these terms or the law.
  • Couriers agree to cover Corsio’s reasonable losses and legal costs from claims caused by their own unlawful conduct or serious breach of these terms, except to the extent that Corsio caused them, and only as far as the law allows. This is never deducted from your pay.

36 Suspension and termination

  • You can stop using Corsio at any time. Couriers can simply stop going online, or delete their account. Partners can stop publishing and ask us to close their account.
  • For couriers, suspension and deactivation follow section 18.
  • We may suspend or close a partner account for a breach of these terms, unpaid amounts, prohibited items, safety or fraud concerns, or when the law requires it. Except in urgent cases, we give you notice and a chance to fix the problem first. We may also close a partner account for any other reason with 30 days’ notice.
  • If we stop offering the Service, or stop offering it in your area, we give at least 30 days’ notice. Deliveries in progress are finished or returned, and couriers are paid what they earned.
  • Terms that by their nature should continue after an account ends (for example pay owed, fees owed, claims, liability, indemnity and governing law) continue to apply.

37 Changes to these terms

  • We may update these terms, for example for new features, changes to pay or prices, or changes in the law. Each update gets a new version name.
  • We tell you in the app, in the portal or by email at least 14 days before an update takes effect, and explain what changed, unless the change must happen sooner for legal or safety reasons.
  • Couriers: the app asks you to accept the new version before you can accept new offers. You can still finish a delivery you already accepted. A change never affects the pay for a delivery you have already accepted.
  • Partners: publishing orders after an update takes effect means you accept it.
  • If you don’t agree with an update, you can stop using Corsio and delete your account.

38 Governing law and disputes

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
  • If you have a problem, contact us first at cango@cangodelivery.ca. We will try to solve it with you within 30 days.
  • If we can’t, either of us can take the dispute to the courts of Ontario, including the Small Claims Court. There is no mandatory arbitration.
  • Couriers can also use the complaint process of Ontario’s Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development. Disputes about your work with Corsio are resolved in Ontario, under Ontario law.

39 General terms

  • Whole agreement. These terms, the Pay terms, the Privacy Policy and any price list we give partners are the whole agreement between you and Corsio about the Service.
  • If a part is invalid. If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies.
  • No waiver. If we don’t enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later.
  • Transfer. You can’t transfer your account or these terms. We may transfer them to a business that takes over Corsio, and we will tell you if we do.
  • Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, road closures, power or internet outages, or outages of our service providers.
  • Language. These terms are written in English.
